GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to the TUNG acupuncture clinical practice seminar organized by Calvin Chien from September 12 to 15th, 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

By booking this seminar, participants certify that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

Confirmation

After reception of your request for participation, a confirmation of reservation will be sent to you by e-mail to the address that you will have communicated in the registration form. The date and location of the seminar are subject to change, you will receive an e-mail with all the information you need to complete your participation few weeks before the seminar.

Once payment has been received, you will receive a payment confirmation by e-mail which will be your confirmation of registration. Be aware that your registration will not be confirmed until you pay. Without payment you will be automatically put on waiting list. 

Right of access and rectification of personal data

All data collected on this registration form is intended for communication relating to the seminar. You can access and rectify information concerning you by contacting Calvin Chien secretary by e-mail at the following adress: contact@chieninstitute.com

Courtesy and know-how

By accepting these conditions, you agree to show courtesy and respect to all participants and organizers.

No photos, audio or video recordings allowed during the seminar. Calvin Chien reserves the right to cancel the participation of any practitioner whose behavior does not comply with the present conditions.

Abandonned policy

• Cancellation

Full refund, up to 30 days before the beginning of the training, (i.e. before august 12, 2024). 
The cancellation must be made by e-mail as soon as possible to the following e-mail address : contact@chieninstitute.com

If a payment has already been received: refund of the amount already paid by bank transfer within a minimum of 15 days after the withdrawal.

You will receive a confirmation of consideration of your withdrawal by e-mail within 10 working days.

All bank transfer fees (payment or refund) will be charged to the participant and will be deducted from the amount refunded.

After july 31, 2024, the full amount of the course will be collected according to the payment methods chosen and accepted by the participant.

Depending on the seminars still scheduled for the current year and subject to availability, it may be possible to postpone cancellation for participation in a similar seminar with Calvin Chien. This decision will be reviewed by the speaker and is subject to his sole discretion.   

• Cancellation in case of unforeseen circumstances

In case of unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to the following e-mail address : contact@chieninstitute.com

Calvin Chien reserves the right to reschedule the seminar to a later date in case of unforseen circumstances. If this date is not convenient for the participant, he/she will be reimbursed upon request to the following e-mail address: contact@chieninstitute.com , under the conditions and according to the modalities stated in the paragraph abandonned policy of the present general conditions.

This seminar is guaranteed for a minimum of 20 participants. Below this number, Calvin Chien reserves the right to postpone or cancel the seminar at a future date.

No Show

In the event of absence, the full course fee is payable. No refunds will be made. The amount paid cannot be carried over to another course. 

No prorata temporis reimbursement will be made in the event of late arrival or partial absence.

Demonstrations

Demonstrations at this seminar are exclusively for educational purposes. They are in no way intended as a substitute for a full T.C.M treatment.
